These popular and reliable self-contained fire suppression systems bring pumps, power and controls together to function as a fail-safe team. Budget, space and time considerations combine to make the Sentinel™ Series Pre-Pac® Fire Pump Systems the optimal solution.

These compact, custom-engineered prepackaged systems provide the reliable fire control available from every Sentinel pump product at less cost and in less space. Completely self-contained, Pre-Pac includes sensing lines, fittings, piping, drive, pump and controls.

Because it’s packaged, Pre-Pac reduces engineering and installation costs. All components meet or exceed applicable North American and International codes and standards. You can specify electric or diesel power, single or dual drive and a simple skid up to 12 ft by 40 ft (3.7 m by 12.2 m) with or without housing enclosures. Every Pre-Pac is hydrostatically tested before shipment.

Featuring pressure ratings from 40 to 150 psi (3 to 10 bar) and flow rates from 50 to 750 gpm (189 to 2,835 litres/min), Sentinel™ End Suction Fire Pumps are available in two configurations—frame-mounted or close-coupled, which can be flanged or threaded. These pumps ably bring Patterson’s rugged performance and reliability to existing applications or new installations.

Their ease of installation minimizes foundation and mounting complexity—you simply add standard piping supports. And thanks to our back pullout configuration, it’s easy to remove the rotating element without disturbing suction and discharge connections.

The Sentinel™ High-Pressure,Two-Stage DMD Fire Pump is engineered for rugged, reliable service and is ideal for installations where space is at a premium. One two-stage unit can produce as much head as two single-stage pumps.

Design highlights include single-inlet, enclosed impellers (mounted back-to-back) and an interconnecting passage between stages. Bronze or bronze-bushed interstage pieces guard against wear. Sizes range from 3-in. to 6-in. (7.6-cm to 15.2-cm) discharge for capacities to 1,000 gpm (3,785 litres/min) and heads to 1,150 ft (351 m).

Among the most versatile pumps in Patterson's arsenal, the Sentinel™ Vertical Turbine Fire Pump stands on our vertical pump expertise. Because it embodies the latest design concepts and engineering technology, this pump is ideal for fighting fire.

Flexible staging enables these units to meet capacity requirements in a minimum of floor space. Standard construction offers cast iron discharge heads with a fabricated steel column, stainless steel head and bowl shafts, or alloy steel line shaft and cast iron bronze fitted bowls. Special metallurgies are also available.

No priming is necessary to provide flows from 500 to 5,000 gpm (1,892 to 18,925 litres/min), with pressures in excess of 350 psi (24 bar).

The compact, self-contained design of Sentinel™ Vertical In-Line Fire Pumps makes them easily adaptable to new or existing applications. They are a great alternative to Sentinel HSC Fire Pumps when lower flow ranges are needed, minimizing energy consumption while lengthening service life.

With the inlet and outlet on a common center line, these pumps are easy to install with simple mounting requirements—only standard piping supports on either side of the pump. This eliminates the need for costly foundations or pads.
